It was such an honor to attend Delia Owens’ author event at Joseph-Beth Bookseller in Lexington, Kentucky. Her book, Where the Crawdads Sing, had been out in publication for awhile so I was pleasantly surprised she was still touring. She is such a sweet, kind woman who packed the local bookstore. It was a standing room only night! The bookseller who introduced Delia, also recommended the book, Whiskey When We’re Dry by John Larison. I immediately added that to my massive TBR pile.
