I quickly perked up with enthusiasm when my husband informed me that the book I had ordered arrived at our mailbox. I preordered a signed copy of Scott Carson’s latest horror novel, “Departure 37,” from the magnificent independent bookstore, The Poisoned Pen, in Scottsdale, Arizona. I can’t wait to read this beautiful book and add it to my collection.
