John Grogan
The book Marley and Me had been a pretty popular book that was later made into a movie. So when I learned that John Grogan was coming to Joseph Beth booksellers in Lexington, Kentucky while on book tour for his new book, The Longest Trip Home: A Memoir, I definitely wanted to attend; I love dogs and learning about people’s lives. I recall Grogan talking about both books and his work writing newspaper articles for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I really enjoyed the event and read both books shortly thereafter.
