Audible Membership

I began my Audible membership on September 17, 2014 and have been an addicted listener ever since. I started listening to podcasts such as The Moth, This American Life, and Books on the Nightstand during my work commute. I enjoyed the experience so much, I wondered if I would like listening to audiobooks. I signed up for an Audible free trial; one month membership and a free book to keep even if I canceled my membership. I selected Tana French’s The Secret Place and immediately fell in love with audiobooks. Thanks to Audible, I quickly found so many opportunities to listen to books. I listen while driving, cleaning house, doing laundry, taking walks, working in the yard, getting ready for work…the opportunities are endless! My husband often gets frustrated with me not hearing him when he starts talking to me because I have my headphones in my ears, forcing him to repeat himself. He says I live with my headphones on. I can’t argue…he’s right! 😂

Look, I have 9 credits! Go me! 🥳

Audible’s system is simple. One credit buys you one book. There are different levels of memberships. I started out paying a monthly rate for one credit, and in 2022 upgraded my membership to Audible Premium Plus Annual. I pay for my membership once a year and instantly receive 12 credits. I can purchase more credits anytime; the more credits I buy, the more I save. My husband has even gifted me credits for birthdays. (He may complain about my listening time, but he knows what I love!)

I have been impressed with Audible’s progress over the years too. Audible consistently searches for ways to benefit their members. Members receive automatic discounts on audiobooks, they have mega sales frequently, each month they offer various books for free, and they have podcasts too. My favorite sales are the 2-for-1. I get to select two audiobooks for one credit from their selection!!

I couldn’t be happier with my Audible membership. Click here to sign-up for your free trial. It doesn’t cost a thing. Check it out to see how you like it.
