The Midnight Line - Jack Reacher #22 (by Lee Child)

Jack Reacher is one of those characters that’s invincible. Each time I pick up the next book in this series, I can’t wait to see where he’s heading and what he’s getting into next. The Midnight Line by Lee Child is #22 in the Jack Reacher series. Reacher gets on a bus and during a stop in Wisconsin, he finds a class ring for West Point 2005. The ring clearly belongs to a woman and given the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq at the time, he becomes intrigued about the ring’s owner. Reacher purchases the ring and sets out on a mission to find the owner to return the ring. Sounds like a relatively simple task, right? Oh, it’s definitely not!

Reacher starts searching in the local bars and meets some rowdy characters and a shady business owner. I don’t want to say more as it will spoil the adventure this book will take you on. It has all of the suspense, mystery, altercations, and travel readers have come to expect from Reacher. This book did not disappoint!

I love Dick Hill’s narration of this audiobook.
