The Storyteller (by Jodi Picoult)

The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult is a perfectly titled book. This beautifully written novel actually weaves many stories together. I wasn’t quite sure what I was in for when the story began with meeting Sage at a grief group. She’s an introverted baker who meets Joseph, an elderly widowed man. I quickly became engrossed when the heart of the novel began telling Sage’s grandmother’s story, an Auschwitz survivor. Wow! What a story!! There’s so much complication as the reader is taken deeply into history. This became quite an emotionally powerful read. It will definitely stay with me for a long time.

I purchased this audiobook through Audible and the cast of narrators was superb!
